Deutsches Pflegehilfswerk
Three products for one caregiving operation: a family-facing App, an agent Admin workspace and a CRM for direct sales outreach.
App · Admin · CRM · Backend architecture · Full-stack delivery
The challenge
The caregiving operation serves two routes: families who use the App to find caregivers, and prospective clients who need direct contact from the sales team. Agents also need an Admin workspace to manage requests from app users.
How I tackled it
Built the platform backend from scratch and expanded my work across App, Admin and CRM. App supports families searching for caregivers; Admin helps agents handle client requests; CRM supports manual outreach and follow-up with prospects who do not use the App.
What shipped
The caregiving platform is live, with my work spanning the family-facing App and the agent-facing Admin. CRM development extends the same operation to sales contacts handled through direct outreach.
Behind the work
One operation, three connected products
At Dardania Chamber of E Health and Commerce L.L.C., I work on the Deutsches Pflegehilfswerk platform across App, Admin and CRM. Each serves a different part of the same caregiving business.
App — helping families find caregivers
The client-facing caregiving platform lets families look for caregivers and submit requests. It is the customer side of the care-placement journey.
Admin — helping agents manage requests
The internal administration platform is where our agents handle client requests from the App and support the caregiving workflow.
CRM — reaching clients outside the App
The CRM manages sales contacts for prospective clients who do not use the App. It supports the team in contacting those prospects manually and following up on sales opportunities.
My scope of ownership
I started by building the platform backend API from the ground up, then expanded into technical direction and full-stack work across these three products. The backend work includes TypeScript, Node, Prisma and PostgreSQL, with Clerk for authentication, DocuSeal for e-signatures and Twilio for messaging. Delivery uses Docker and Azure Pipelines.
How the pieces connect
Let's talk about the product you're building.
