The challenge
Dardania needed a complete digital backbone for its German caregiving operation, covering everything from caregiver onboarding to legally-binding service contracts, across iOS, Android, and web clients, with zero existing infrastructure.
How I tackled it
Designed and built the backend API from scratch on a TypeScript-first stack: Node with Express for transport, Prisma over Postgres for data, Clerk for auth, DocuSeal for e-signatures, Twilio for messaging, and Dockerised deploys on Azure Pipelines. Modelled the domain around three actors (caregiver, recipient, agency) with strong role-based access control.
What shipped
Shipped and live in production. Platform handles matching, scheduling, onboarding, and signed contracts end-to-end. Now leading the team and setting the technical direction as Tech Lead while the product scales.
